A different answer, doesn't mean always "WRONG"..

At the beginning I thought it's a waste of time and a useless activity we took during the English class, it was two pictures, the first was a group of spotty wild horses in brown and white with a snowy mountain in the background. The two "objects (mountain and horses) made a lot of people confused and lost a little bit. Every single student thought the picture in a completely different way, people thought it's a simple mountain, other thought they were a bunch of cows in the snow,…  Even the second picture, it was two people one playing guitar and the other listening and however with the background they seemed like to old couples or friends looking face to face. With the time and the discussions, the Miss started by saying the true objective that was behind these two pictures it was literally the difference of our response to them and its it called somehow the "perception". Our responses and thoughts were reflects about our culture, education, religion and so much more. And also our way of thinking.. Well personally the first thing I thought or came in my mind about the first picture (the one of the mountain and horse) is the horses, because looking at my education or culture, horses and horse breeding is something essential in my brain, and I think that this is the magic thing that let me caught the horses from the first sight. So I can easily say that your way of thinking to something is way different than another due to your education or childhood or whatever even religion sometimes.
Well, relating this so called "perception" thing to Egypt to me is the political life we all live in more than the social. While millions vote for a candidate, other million votes for another and so one, it is obvious now that I'm talking about the famous Egyptian presidential elections 2012. A lot of arguments and debates about the most appropriate president for this time to comfort people and returns back Egypt to its familiar high place between the other countries. Selim El Awa, Ahmed Shafik, Mohamed Morsi, Amr Moussa, Hamdeen Sabahi, and so on..  A lot and a lot of thoughts in each mind than don't really matches from a person to another. But let me tell you something, before judging we have to think about peoples thinking and know why does this thinking comes from, believe its sophisticated to describe it in such words. But thinking about poor people who doesn't have a piece of bread to feed their children, there only thing that will influence them to a candidate is increasing the income of poor people and giving them comfort, and thinking about the middle class which is a really rare class nearly vanished needs also increasing income but not also and they want safeness and safety, and talking to high class which is the minority of Egypt's people they want safeness and safety but not as much as increasing Egypt's political and economic standard between other countries.
Well after a lot of words written about perception, I can easily resume that another answer who's not matching yours is not always a wrong one, but to judge it, you have to think at first why did he think of it, so that (I think) what is PERCEPTION IS..

Today or tomorrow?? TODAY!

A lot of times, I've dreaming of restarting the day or week and beginning it with work and work and not until the last minute staying on facebook. - Before deadlines (me :/ )

A very interesting topic that I was assigned to is the time management, which is a difficult problem that I never learnt to cross it and be more behaved in time. Literally every day I hear words such as you're late or homework not given in time,.. Many quotations about this topic, a one who was told to me TOO many times is (translated) don't postpone today's work to tomorrow, which worth a thousand word and explanations. Postponing things is lack of care and being negligent to it. Well throw my scholar life, I've regretted and still regretting every minute I postponed any assignment to just have fun or play or stay on facebook, it is a real problem that I till now face but what can we do to stop postponing and be more behaved to deadlines ?

Simple explanations throw simple words:

-plan your day before beginning it.

-start your assignment or homework from the day you take it.

-be balanced, between fun and studying / making your work.
-give time for your work.
-And the most important thing is to find out where you're wasting your time.

And a lot of others would help, but the most important thing to me is to have a working spirit that accompanies you throw success.
Throw my 4 years of MYP, doing "homework" seems a big problem to me, because as people know about me, an energetic person cannot stay for a couple of hours to just study, but facing the truth the reason of coming to school is to work hard and to develop our future with skills and education and ethics. Every time I've been questioning myself why do I neglect my to the last second? But my only answer is It takes time to manage the time and to finish your un finished work and to start a fresh new well time behaved start. And believe me you'll get your prize at the end but just stick to it and you'll achieve it at the end.

CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE

To say "NO" to everything, or to refuse to obey orders, rules, or to just change norms of life is to make a disobedience, but what we are talking today is the civil one, the one whose made by a group of people, sharing the same idea and unified by a disobedience towards a government or a parliament…

Civil disobedience was present in many ages were was hard to resist as a government, because it stops the wheel of economy without any damages or destruction from the people, so there's no excuse for the government to stop it, that's why it's kind of difficult stand against it. So it's an non-violent sort of demonstration hard to resist as a government or president..

Ghandi was known by his non-violent civil disobedience in India against the British, he simply stopped eating, and that's why he became so skinny. And also there was a civil disobedience but failed in Egypt, it was for several things who happens in the current time who was weird and inappropriate, like the army and it's problem with stepping down, and the massacre of port said, and the lack of security in the streets..

For me the civil disobedience is a non-violent demonstration, always successful and safe. But it could be negative on us if everybody participates, because for example we can't even eat, because even the bakery would be off work to attend to the disobedience, so bread won't be baked out. So it's positive and negative in the same time.

A perfect man.

Zaki Farag Hana, a man like the book says. To me he’s my role model, since I was 5. It’s true I didn't see him; I was just a few months old, when he passed away. When my family talks about him they mention how a brilliant man he was, he invented his first steam engine out of metal parts when he was just 12 years old, and he invented for the first time a new plastic injection mould that perforates fully automatically the buttons, and it's called side core mould and other innumerable things.

He was really generous to all people, he didn't abuse people, and when he know that somebody stole him, he talk to him like he’s one their children, and convince him that he did something wrong.

They told me that he was a calm and sage person, he observed and listen to people very carefully, and at the end he tries to convince all the people with his opinions.

He is an example of a hard worker who elaborates all his projects, he started from 0, and his parents didn’t really give him a job to be continued. He was a mechanical mania, so he started with a little machine that make plastic, and with time accompanied with serious hard work, he achieved his goal, and made his own factory that makes simply everything made of plastic, from bottle to rulers to chairs,…

And finally, he is my beloved grandfather, my wish was to see him, and learn lessons of life from him, so this is it. I miss you grandpa, and may God bless you. :)

My sister and I.

Till now I didn't find a real best friend, well, of course I have, but I don't feel that special feeling about it. I just feel it when I'm with my sister. The youngest one, Sherry. Were always crazy, fool all the time, but when one of us gets in trouble, we stand with each other, no matter what. We make a lot and a lot of fights, and yes I made her cry, and because of her I was fired from house for 4 hours and a half.

My sister and I, yes we are crazy.

But let us talk about our relation with each other, honesty is very important in our relationship, we will tell each other the truth no matter the consequence. Real friends are the ones you know for sure they will be standing right next to you when you're in trouble. They are the ones that will be happy for you more than they will be for themselves. Real friends will be close to you no matter how far away you live from each other, even if you live in different countries you know that they will be there for you. Friends come and go but real friends will stay with you forever, even if you have the biggest fights, they forgive each other quickly and never remember the bad things for each other.

In my point of view, one word can defines "real friendship" and it's Sherry Fanous, I love you sis, but I'm just assuring you, one day, I will be exclude from house for 2 nights, don't worry about this.

My new year's resolution, my new life !

For the past few years my new year's resolutions was only a duty or a homework to write, and it didn't really matter with me, I just cite them, and a few days later I forget them totally. But now we are all young men and young women, we have a life ahead that needs a lot of plans starting from now. So here is my 2012 resolution, a real ONE.

Life is too short for us, so let's just live it hopefully, peacefully, without any problems surrounding us. But to achieve this goal, I have to erase all my past, to be reborn, to be a new Samuel, to have a new head-start, starting with the simplest thing, to have a clean bedroom, to rebuilt a new relationship with my sisters or actually with all my friends, because a good and nice beginning leads to a great end ! And also to be a good and well behaved student, because you can lose anything, a father, a mother, a family, a house, except your education, and that's one the hardest things I want to achieve. But with time a faith and struggle, I can be a new student, whom all the teachers love and appreciate. But to do this I have to wear a lifeguard, because whenever I fail in one of my goals, I need something that can pulls me up again and let me continues like a soldier, and this lifeguard is God. Whatever your religion is let god accompanies your path. :)
